About Manu
Hello, I’m Dr Manu Nair, I hold a PhD in Space Robotics and Engineering. I work at the intersection of advanced mathematics, physics, and real-world engineering applications, and I’m passionate about making complex ideas clear, logical, and accessible.
In my classes, I aim to teach mathematics, physics, and academic writing with a strong focus on understanding, problem-solving, and structured thinking. Rather than memorising formulas or rules, you’ll learn how and why things work, and how to apply concepts confidently to new and unfamiliar problems.
My goal is to help you build strong foundations, think critically, and communicate ideas clearly, skills that are essential not only for exams, but for university, research, and future careers in science and engineering. I expect curiosity, effort, and engagement, and in return I provide clear explanations, supportive guidance, and high academic standards.

Teaching Approach & Tutoring Philosophy
My teaching approach is research-based and problem-based, designed to help students develop deep understanding, critical thinking, and confidence in applying knowledge rather than memorising facts. I focus on how to think, not just what to learn.
I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level, learning pace, and goals, ensuring concepts are broken down clearly while still being intellectually engaging. Students are encouraged to actively ask questions, explore alternative solutions, and reflect on their reasoning, skills that are essential for long-term academic success. The classes can be conducted particularly for Exam-focused and curriculum-aligned where appropriate based on the preference.
Continuous feedback is provided to students to facilitate personalised learning strategies.

Qualifications & Experience: I am an academic and project supervisor with experience mentoring and teaching multiple students across different academic levels. I have guided students through coursework, projects, and independent research, helping them build both subject mastery and academic confidence. My background in higher education ensures a structured, rigorous, and supportive learning environment.
