About Sachin
Hello there. My name is Sachin Mahabeer. I am a computer science graduate with a postgraduate diploma in Data Analytics. I have lectured, tutored and TA'd at Varsity College Durban North, now Emeris Durban North since 2024 when I began my time in the Higher Certificate space as an Introduction to Mobile Application Development tutor. I had been that guy you go to if your code didn't work for a little while at that point and decided: "Hey, why not do it professionally", which prompted me to apply for a lecturing position. Over the past 2 years or so I have found a true passion for teaching and enabling others in the IT Space. As a student I maintained distinctions throughout my college career and have built many projects during that time. These projects include a Facial Recognition API, a few games, a study tracker and more. With a wealth of experience in academia both as learner and teacher I can help you be your best as I've worn both hats.
