About Hope
A lifelong Vancouverite, this is my home and where I grew up, but because our city is so livable, I realized I haven’t been compelled to go anywhere else, until recently. I entered the workforce seven years ago, getting my start working for utility giants MCI and BC Hydro, where I fostered customer service skills and discovered a passion for green technologies and energy efficiency. After working for five years; I’ve found myself pursuing an interdisciplinary academic career which combines my biggest interests and has awakened a latent desire to travel. I now hold a diploma in Tourism Management and anticipate having my Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management by 2014. I also plan to attain certification as a Sustainable Building Advisor while acquiring my degree.
