Hi! I'm a 16 year old Junior in high school. I have a 3.8 GPA, have skipped 8th grade, have taken AP Language and Composition, and am currently taking honors English this year. Many of my essays have earned A's on most of my essays.

For Elementary school children: I will explain in depth why a certain grammar rule exists and help them to see the patterns in grammar so that they can more easily understand grammar rules. For spelling, I will explain why a word is spelled a certain way and what other words follow this rule so that they can begin to understand how spelling works. While reading I will be patient and help them to slowly sound words out so that they can be more confident in their reading skills.
For High School writing: I will explain the importance of a thesis in an essay and how this ties into the rest of the essay. I will also make sure that the importance of essay structure is understood, and help eliminate details that weaken an essay.
Choosing a tutor may be difficult, but you can be confident in me because I have always had high grades in my English classes and will work at the speed of the person I'm tutoring to make sure that there's no confusion toward anything.
