The number one most important thing about tutoring is forming a connection with my students. After all, students will always learn more when they trust their tutor and have fun.
I always begin my lessons with a quick check-up. How are you doing? How is school? How was your weekend? Make no mistake, this can be the most important part of learning.
I want all of my students to feel that each lesson is also a meeting with a FRIEND.
I am a big believer in positive reinforcement. When a student makes a breakthrough and begins understanding a new concept, it is imperative to let that student know they are doing a good job.
My goal is to provide patience, understanding, encouragement and results.
I can help students of all levels from Grades 1 - 10 in Math, English and Science.
Ultimately, I help my students ENJOY learning!
