About Emily
I am a 27 year old SEND primary school teacher who has been teaching for 6 years.
My favourite part of teaching is seeing those pupils who have barriers to their learning, understand a topic or unit of work. I also love working in a 1:1 setting as it allows me to fully understand a child’s strengths and build on these, and understand their areas of development to work on these further.
I believe children work and learn better from someone that they like and get on with so I like to build a trusting, professional relationship with the pupil whilst working.
Teaching is such a rewarding job which I love!

I’m a qualified primary school teacher who left mainstream to change to SEND. I have been teaching for 6 years.
I can teach all subjects at a primary and lower secondary level.
I have a lot of experience with children with additional needs and can use their strengths to build their learning.
As a younger teacher, I have been able to build good, professional, trusting relationships with pupils and adults whilst bringing a fun element to their learning.
I believe that children learn best from teachers that they like and that make the learning fun and enjoyable.

£35 per hour.
Online lessons will be priced at the same as face to face lessons.
If you are far away, please do still get in contact as I can travel. However, I may need to include travel/petrol costs into my fees.
