About Janya
My way of tutoring is calm, patient, and organized. I love English & I take this role very seriously. I care about the students’ progress and how much they are excelling. If English feels impossible to excel in, I’m confident in my teaching strategies & my ability to help another understand. I’m also a student who was struggling tremendously with reading and comprehending. Too many words felt like too much to read, too many questions needed a specific answer I couldn’t seem to figure out, too much stress about when my next essay was due. Thankfully, I picked up on different techniques and strategies to perfect my essays. I was no longer struggling to understand the purpose of writing. As a student who used to struggle terribly in English, I now have A’s in English & I can clearly understand and educate fellow students on the techniques that helped me.
