About Colleen
During my time as an undergraduate at Tulane University, I progressed from the DELF A1 level in my freshman year to B2/C1 upon graduation. My college education opened doors for me that led to passing the French professional business exam (DFP), studying abroad at SciencesPo in Paris, obtaining a full scholarship to take summer classes from Tulane in France, and earning the French Government Book Prize from Tulane’s department of French & Italian. I have committed myself to a lifetime of mastering the French language, and aim to empower others on their own individualized journeys!

As a lifelong Francophile and language enthusiast, I am passionate about cross-cultural connection through the power of words. My teaching method focuses on conversational/spoken French while simultaneously encompassing essential grammar and vocabulary skills. Having tested at the B2/C1 level on the DELF proficiency exam, my tutorship is a great fit for beginner learners who are eager to get started on their French language path.
