About Nia
With 13 years of experience teaching piano, I have taught students from diverse backgrounds, including school children, college learners, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, encouragement, and creativity, allowing students to explore music and develop technical skills at their own pace.
I have guided students in performances, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve milestones and gain recognition for their efforts. Lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and expressive playing, all tailored to the student’s goals and interests.
I strive to inspire confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music while making every lesson engaging, rewarding, and meaningful.

My teaching methodology is built on compassion, communication, and encouragement. I believe each student learns in their own way, and I adapt lessons to meet individual needs. In piano lessons, I focus on developing technique, musicality, and confidence, using exercises that are both structured and enjoyable.
I encourage open communication, allowing students to ask questions and share their goals. Supportiveness is central to my approach—I guide students patiently, celebrate achievements, and help them overcome challenges. I also apply this method to other subjects I teach, such as music theory and beginner composition.
My aim is to create a positive and inspiring environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn.
