About Ekam
I am a Rice University mathematics major, but I wasn't an "early bloomer" in these subjects. I know exactly what it feels like to be frustrated by math and physics, and having been a Teaching Assistant at my university, I know how to patiently guide others. Additionally, having grown up across the US, India, and Singapore, I am highly adaptable and can relate to diverse learning styles.

My teaching approach is as far away from rote formula memorization as possible. I find that using graphs, figures, visual breakdowns, and examples is the absolute best way to make concepts stick.
Lessons will be fully customized to your specific textbook, high-school syllabus, and needs. An example session would include targeted review followed by guided practice and independent problem solving.
