About Courtney
I hated school from kindergarten through senior year of high school! I did not want to pick up a book and do not get me started on math, it was the worst. As an adult, I am often asked about my favorite teacher growing up, and I realize that I didn't have one. That is the reason I struggled and that is the reason I became a teacher. Before we can learn to read, write, synthesize, and analyze, we need to feel safe and protected. That, and a few jokes, is what I provide in my lessons.
