About María
I study Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada. I am currently doing the third year of my degree in Passau (Germany) as an Erasmus+ student. I have experience living in a foreign country.
Regarding English, I have studied it since I was 5 years old and I have a C1 Cambridge level. I have been teaching sporadically to family and friends, with quite satisfactory results. I also do socio-cultural volunteering with children, which has given me experience in dealing with them in educational and recreational contexts.
As for Spanish, I study it as part of my university degree, apart from being my native language. Therefore, in addition to my knowledge as a native speaker, I have the knowledge and perspective of studying it theoretically.
My teaching style is fun, enjoyable, adapted to the needs of each student and with a lot of conversation. I prepare the classes and homework in advance. My main aim is to pass on my enthusiasm for English and Spanish to my students. I make sure that all the language skills are developed equally (listening, writing, speaking, reading) and I give extra reinforcement to the parts that are more difficult depending on the student.
