Meet Your Tutor – Mr. Vimukthi Fernando! Hello students! I’m Mr. Vimukthi, and I’m here to make learning science, chemistry, and math an exciting and rewarding journey for you. With a strong background in chemistry and years of teaching experience, I’m passionate about helping students like you understand complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, majoring in Chemistry, and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Chemistry at Flinders University. I’ve been teaching for several years, guiding students to success by making science and math more interesting, interactive, and easy to grasp. My goal is to help you develop a strong foundation, improve your problem-solving skills, and build confidence in your learning. I believe that every student has the potential to excel—you just need the right guidance and support. My lessons are designed to be clear, fun, and practical, so you can not only score well in exams but also understand how science and math connect to the real world. About the lesson

I am passionate about fostering a love for learning and helping students achieve their academic potential. With a solid foundation in chemistry and science, I specialize in making complex topics in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects understandable and engaging. My approach is tailored to each student’s individual learning style, helping them build confidence and problem-solving skills while mastering key concepts.

I believe in not just teaching students the curriculum, but also equipping them with the skills to think critically, ask insightful questions, and apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios. Whether it's chemistry, general science, or mathematics, I work with students to develop a deep understanding of the subject matter while making learning a positive, rewarding experience.

I’m committed to nurturing curiosity and inspiring students to see the relevance of science and maths in their everyday lives. My goal as a tutor is to guide students not only to academic success but also to develop a lifelong passion for learning.
