About Lisa
I graduated from UC Davis. I had been tutoring math from Grades 3-12. I helped student to build a strong math foundation. I started taking calculus since freshman in high school. I always the youngest student in any math class throughout middle school and high school. I have been tutoring math one-on-one since 2009 in subjects that include Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus. I enjoy helping students learn at their own pace and guiding them to success in their math goals.

I specialize in one-on-one settings, where I connect with students and find the best way to relate to them. With that connection built on mutual respect, I find it much easier to carefully explain concepts in multiple ways to ensure students understand the material. Very patient and knowledgeable in explaining concepts of algebra! Lisa went over the questions for my assignment and showed me how to complete them as well. This was a helpful tutoring session and money well spent. I would go through another session.
