About Talon

I am a passionate and experienced singing tutor with a Master’s degree in Music and over 6 years of vocal coaching and performance experience. My journey began with classical voice training and evolved through years of stage performances, studio work, and teaching students across various ages and skill levels. Singing has always been more than a skill to me—it’s a form of self-expression, and I’m dedicated to helping others discover that same joy. Over the years, I’ve worked with students pursuing many different paths: some preparing for auditions and performances, others simply exploring their voice for personal growth. My teaching is adaptive and student-focused, aiming to bring out each individual’s unique vocal qualities. I value patience, encouragement, and a structured approach that balances technique with creativity. In my lessons, I emphasize healthy vocal habits, breath control, tone shaping, and pitch precision. I also encourage emotional expression and connection to lyrics, helping students perform with authenticity and confidence. Whether we’re working on a pop ballad, a classical piece, or musical theater, I strive to make each session engaging, educational, and inspiring. Outside of teaching, I continue to perform and collaborate with other musicians, staying connected to the evolving world of vocal music. I bring this active experience into my lessons, offering practical insights and fresh techniques. My goal is to guide each student in becoming a confident, expressive, and skilled vocalist—one step at a time.

About the lesson

Singing lessons are designed to support all skill levels, from beginners discovering their voice to more advanced singers looking to refine technique and performance skills. Each lesson is personalized to match your vocal range, musical interests, and learning pace, creating a clear and enjoyable path to vocal growth.

We begin with essential techniques such as breath control, posture, and vocal warm-ups to build a strong and healthy foundation. Lessons also focus on pitch accuracy, tone development, and vocal strength through carefully selected exercises and songs. You’ll gain an understanding of vocal anatomy, helping you use your voice more effectively and confidently.

As you progress, we explore advanced topics like vocal dynamics, emotional expression, harmonization, and stylistic interpretation. Whether you're interested in pop, classical, musical theatre, or contemporary styles, lessons will incorporate genre-specific techniques to suit your personal goals. Performance practice and microphone technique can also be introduced as needed.
