About Benjamin
I am a UK-trained doctor currently working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar in Sydney, Australia. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2020, where I also completed a First-Class BMedSci, before undertaking my Foundation Training in Manchester.
Since moving to Australia, I have spent over four years working predominantly in Emergency Medicine across a variety of busy metropolitan hospitals. I currently work at registrar level, managing a broad range of acute and emergency presentations, supervising junior colleagues and contributing regularly to the teaching of junior doctors and medical students.
I am passionate about Emergency Medicine and particularly enjoy teaching clinical reasoning: helping students move beyond memorising facts to understanding how to assess a patient, formulate a differential diagnosis and develop a safe and logical management plan.
Whether you are preparing for your first clinical OSCE, approaching finals or simply want to become more confident managing patients on the wards, I will tailor sessions to your experience, learning style and individual goals.

My lessons are practical, interactive and tailored to the individual student. I focus on developing clinical reasoning and confidence rather than simply memorising information, using realistic cases and scenarios to apply knowledge in a way that is useful both for exams and clinical practice.
For OSCE preparation, I use timed mock stations followed by structured, practical feedback. For clinical medicine and finals revision, I favour case-based learning: working through a presentation from initial assessment and differential diagnosis through to investigations, management and appropriate escalation. I can also tailor sessions to specific topics or areas that you find difficult.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for mock OSCEs or more intensive finals preparation.
I am a UK-trained doctor and Emergency Medicine Registrar currently working in Sydney, Australia. My current role includes supervising and teaching junior doctors and medical students.
My lessons are suitable for medical students at all stages, but particularly those in their clinical years preparing for OSCEs and final examinations. I can help with clinical examinations, history taking, acute and emergency presentations, ABCDE assessment, clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, ECG and ABG interpretation, and preparation for the transition from medical student to FY1.
My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable thinking aloud, making mistakes and asking questions, while receiving clear and constructive feedback to improve both their exam technique and clinical confidence.
