About Mark
**Services offered in English and French, both at a native speaker level**
I've been tutoring students of all ages and backgrounds in mathematics, physics, and elementary statistics for over five years. From middle and high school students that want to catch up after falling behind, to senior-level students that need the highest marks possible to apply to university, to adults working towards earning an OSSD.
I believe everyone can benefit from seeing how mathematics surrounds them everywhere they go and using its tools intuitively to better understand the world around them, and that that is where understanding comes from.

Let's break down mathematics to its fundamentals together!
Math doesn't have to be an opaque, memorize-and-apply exercise in frustration. Mathematics is a language of its own, and, like any language, the way to getting better at reading, writing, and speaking it is by breaking down what each word and sentence means.
In my lessons, I teach each concept simultaneously verbally, visually, and with examples from the real world, and then have my student try their hand at a problem while explaining their thinking, correcting it along the way. This ensures that every concept we review has the strongest foundation it can possibly have for further concepts to build on top of, again using the same methods.
