About Namrata
Hello Writers! My name is Namrata, and I am your creative writing mentor. I believe that writing is not just about putting words on paper — it’s about discovering your imagination, expressing your thoughts, and telling stories only you can tell. I am a writer, storyteller, and researcher who has been exploring the world of words for over 5 years. Over time, I’ve written short stories/essays/articles/poems and guided learners from different age groups to find their voice in writing. When I teach, my goal is to make writing feel like a journey — full of ideas, experiments, and fun challenges. Whether you are 8 or 80, I believe everyone has a story worth telling, and my job is to help you unlock it. In our sessions, you can expect: A safe space to write freely, without fear of mistakes. Creative prompts, games, and discussions to spark your imagination. Step-by-step guidance to help you write better every day. Honest but kind feedback to help you grow. Outside of teaching, I love reading novels, dancing, music, sketching, watching films, or traveling — all of which inspire my writing. I can’t wait to read your stories, poems, and ideas. Remember: your voice matters, and the world is waiting to hear it! Let’s write together — Namrata

Welcome students and parents!
This is Namrata. I've always been passionate about English through creative writing. Currently I'm pursuing English in my Bachelor's with a specialization in Creative Writing. My teaching methodology is based on the belief that everyone can be a writer if given the right guidance, freedom, and structured practice. Creative writing is not only about storytelling but also about self-expression, critical thinking, and imaginative exploration. I aim to create a safe, interactive, and encouraging space where students of all ages can discover their voices.
Core Objectives:
- Develop confidence in self-expression.
- Strengthen grammar, vocabulary, and stylistic skills naturally through practice.
- Encourage original thinking and storytelling.
- Foster discipline in writing through structured exercises.
- Help students analyze and appreciate literature to inspire their own work.
Age-Appropriate Customization
Children (6–12 years): Focus on imagination, picture prompts, short stories, poems, and fun activities like “finish the story” or “create a character.”
Teens (13–18 years): Blend fun and skill—short fiction, essays, journaling, plot building, dialogue writing, and peer review.
Adults (18+): Emphasize refinement—story structure, writing techniques, character arcs, editing, and creative discipline.

2. Concept Introduction: A mini-lesson on a topic (characterization, setting, plot, metaphor, dialogue, etc.).
3. Guided Practice: Short timed writing exercises based on the day’s concept.
4. Sharing & Feedback: Voluntary reading aloud or submission, with constructive peer and teacher feedback.
5. Independent Project: Students work on their own short story, poem, or essay with regular check-ins.
