About Nayera
Hi! I'm Nayera, a Psychology undergraduate at Trinity College Dublin and a former secondary school student in Dublin.
I achieved 4 H1s and 3 H2s in my Leaving Certificate and am offering supportive, approachable tutoring for Junior Cycle students in English, Math and Science.
I aim to make lessons relaxed, patient and encouraging while helping students build genuine understanding and confidence.
As a current university student, I understand the transition from primary school to secondary school and the challenges that can come with studying and preparing for exams. I'm excited to work with you!

I adapt each session to the student's individual needs rather than following a fixed lesson plan.
I like to start by identifying what the student already understands and where they are struggling in a specific topic or subject, then work through the topic together using clear explanations and practical examples.
For English, I focus on helping students bring their own ideas and interpretations from texts, and express them clearly, particularly through teaching essay structure, creative writing and analyzing texts.
For Math and Science, I aim to develop understanding behind a topic rather than simply memorizing steps or answers. I also encourage students to attempt questions independently during sessions so that we can identify exactly where they are having difficulty.
Sessions can include homework support, revision, exam preparation and figuring out where they went wrong post-exam, and developing effective study and organization habits.
These lessons are most suited to students from 1st-3rd year in secondary school. I have a flexible university timetable and can offer online sessions for 1-2 hours, depending on location. I'm happy to work with students who need occasional help with a particular topic as well as those looking for regular weekly support.
