About Samhita
I may be a high school student, but I have had exceptional grades in the past years. It's not really because of "natural talent"; I wasn't like this in 3rd grade. But then I found so many ways to improve my studies. I found practicing methods and ways to not procrastinate when doing my work. I'll teach students everything I know and ensure that everyone achieves their optimal success in the best way possible. And while doing that, I would also get to know the student in the process (double bonus). I want them to feel like they have someone to talk to. Besides my academics and this tutoring business, I'm still a kid. I know what it is like to not want to learn, which means I know how to fix that mindset. So all in all, this is going to be a long - but great - journey. I'm Samhita, and I'm looking forward to working with you!

I know all the study methods. I have been learning and even finding different ways since 4th grade. I know how to get good grades and what should be done in advance for the next school year and beyond. All my lessons have basically one goal: To make the student smarter and get high grades. I also will do everything to make sure the student feels comfortable in asking questions and being honest. I will never judge as I have had personal experience with all the obstacles that came through academics, so I completely understand. A typical lesson plan would be to do occasional surveys, and to review the prior week's topics a little bit. The rest of the class will be to learn something new or sharpen the math skills. I will sometimes even do small quizzes or tests to see how far they have come. It helps me adapt to the student too. The classes are for grades 3 to 8. My tutoring prices are very cheap - 5 dollars an hour for 3-5 graders, and 10 dollars an hour for 6-8 graders. I also will share my study secrets with the students too!
