About Henry
Outside of teaching I’m into surfing, rock climbing, basketball, and hiking. These things keep me motivated, patient and creative, which I bring into my lessons too. I want students to feel relaxed and confident, no matter their level. Lessons are about finding what works best for you and building from there. For me, teaching isn’t about making things complicated, it’s about breaking them down so they actually make sense — and making it fun along the way.

I offer friendly and structured lessons in Mathematics and Economics for GCSE and A level students. Having recently achieved A*A*A at A level, I understand the demands of the curriculum and focus on building strong subject knowledge, problem-solving skills, and exam technique. My lessons are typically 60 minutes, tailored to the student’s needs, with clear explanations and lots of practice to build confidence. Alongside academics, I also teach beginner piano. I am currently working towards Grade 8 and can support students at an early stage who want to develop strong foundations, enjoy playing, and progress steadily. My lessons are designed for GCSE and A level students in Maths and Economics, and beginners of any age for piano. I aim to keep sessions engaging, encouraging, and focused on progress at the student’s pace.
