9 years teaching ESL/EFL with TESOL training and a TOEFL/TOEIC specialization. I can bring a structured lesson plan or a loose conversation style. My teaching method and techniques
I build every lesson around you, not the textbook or the test. Whatever you want to learn, I will teach. After 9 years teaching ESL/EFL, I've found the fastest progress starts with a clear goal from the student. I will add the real-life English and experiences whether it's visiting a café in person or recommending a news article or video. With me, you will never be afraid to speak English and you will always pass your exam.
A typical lesson
A lesson can be conversation only or TOEFL/TOEIC focused. A lesson can be anything you like. We can warm up with speaking, look at an essay you wrote, and finish off with test-taking tips. I can give you homework, vocabulary, topics to study - anything to help you with your English goals.
What sets me apart
I've spent 9 years teaching people from Japan, South Korea, Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, and China. I have taught in elementary, junior high, high school, university and adult language schools. I have taught over 1,000 students across 14 different schools. I can speak Japanese, Spanish and am learning Korean. Let me help you with your English journey.
