About Sasha
I hold a qualification in English language teaching, and have 4+ years experience. Outside of lessons, I make music and art, which I think shows up in how I teach: a bit of patience, a bit of creative problem-solving when something isn't clicking. Lessons with me feel pretty relaxed, low-pressure, and yeah, there might be a terrible joke or two along the way ;)

Hi! I'm Alexandra - think of me less like a strict teacher and more like the friend who happens to actually know why English grammar does the weird things it does (because yes, there's always a reason, even for the tenses you swear make no sense).
I teach English online for teens and adults, B1-B2 level, entirely in English. My whole approach is: I don't just hand you a rule and say "memorize it." I show you the pattern behind it, so it actually sticks instead of evaporating the second you need it in real conversation. I had a teacher in college who taught this way, and it completely changed how I saw language - from "random rules" to "oh, that actually makes sense." I've been teaching that way ever since.
I also build lessons around you - your goals, your level, and honestly, whatever you're actually into (memes, movies, games, music, whatever), because material sticks way better when it's not just a random textbook paragraph about someone's holiday in London. I genuinely enjoy this, and I'll tell you straight if something isn't working instead of just nodding along
