About Bermet

I am a Mathematics student at King's College London with a strong passion for teaching and problem-solving. My academic background includes multiple medals in international maths olympiads, graduating with honours, and scoring an A in AS Maths.

Having previously tutored students to improve their maths scores from 60% to over 80%, I focus on making maths enjoyable and clear. I love working with young learners from Year 5 to GCSE level (Ages 9–16), helping them overcome maths anxiety, master key principles, and build lasting academic confidence.

About the lesson

As a student at King's College London, I offer supportive and structured maths tutoring made for students from Year 5 up to GCSE level (Ages 9–16 / 4th to 10th grade). My goal is to make maths accessible, non-intimidating, and engaging.

My lessons focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, identifying gaps in core understanding, and strengthening problem-solving skills. For GCSE students, we focus heavily on exam technique, mark schemes, and practising exam-style questions to maximise top grades. For younger students, I focus on boosting subject confidence and improving understanding

Lessons are 55 minutes long, conducted online. I adapt every session to match the student's unique learning pace and specific school curriculum.
