About Ellen

Physics has been my field of study and teaching for more than five years. Holding a BSc in Space and Planetary Science, I bring both knowledge and enthusiasm to my tutoring. I focus on preparing high school students for IGCSE and A-Level Physics. My lessons include practical experiments, which make abstract ideas easier to grasp. I also emphasize detailed derivations, so students can follow equations from start to finish. Mechanics is a subject I enjoy teaching, breaking it down into logical steps. Electricity is taught with real-world connections, linking formulas to everyday devices. Waves are explained clearly, using examples like sound and light to show how they work. I use past papers often, as they are excellent for building exam readiness. Lessons are structured to follow a progression, ensuring steady improvement. Everyday observations, like shadows, sound, or magnetism, become entry points for learning. Fun experiments and small demos keep students engaged. Visual aids simplify complex patterns. Historical discoveries are taught as stories of human adventure. I also open discussions about the philosophical side of Physics, such as the nature of space-time. My teaching style is conversational and participatory. Pilot Aspirants gain practical lessons in motion and flight mechanics. Olympiad Competitors receive advanced training and deep conceptual practice. Lessons are structured yet flexible to adapt to needs. Confidence and clarity grow together in every session. Physics becomes approachable, exciting, and deeply rewarding.
