About Kristen
I am a former elementary school teacher. I taught kindergarten and second grade. Don't think that just because I taught young kids, I can't teach you. I love working with young adults as well. I am silly, and sarcastic at times, and will do anything wild to get you to remember the content ( I used to dress up as Paul Revere and yell "The British are coming" for my kids to remember the "Midnight Ride." I am very easy going, and use any materials you have been provided with to create a storyline of the content you need to know. I bring history to life by making it relatable, funny, or just simply explained. I am flexible and love teaching and making my lessons fun. I usually incorporate a game, or some review into each lesson. Lessons can be elementary through college.
