First, I generally assess a student's knowledge by watching them solve a problem. Through this, I am able to identify problem areas and knowledge gaps. I aim to teach students how to think, forming a methodology that can be applied to multiple types of problems. My teaching style tends to be direct, cerebral, and interactive. I am for student success by giving them the tools necessary for academic success.
