About Taylor
I have been a tutor for the past 7 years, and have been a primary/junior/intermediate/special education OCT-certified teacher for 2 and 1/2 years working for Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. During the time that I have been a tutor, I have worked with students aged 3-16 years old, working on students' math, language, and social studies academic needs. I have spent the last 2 and 1/2 years supplying and teaching grades 7 and 8. My goal as a teacher is to continue learning and developing teaching techniques to help students with their learning.

I always start lessons by gaining an understanding of what areas the student is able to do well. I then use the skills the students do well in to help the students in the areas that they are struggling in. This allows the student to feel accomplished and allows the students to feel successful, which then can help the student have greater success in the future.
