About Luke
This will be my first year as a private tutor. I am hugely looking forward to bringing new perspectives and optimism regarding learning physics and mathematics to students. Furthermore, I can't wait to learn new ideas and perspectives from you all, allowing me to further my skill of science communication teaching.

One of the main weaknesses I have been able to identify in the learning process of traditional education is the intimidation factor that comes along with grappling technical subjects. However, what I have found and what I am looking forward to showing other students is that, at the fundamental level, science and math is extremely fascinating. Instead of simply 'getting through' your next physics or math class, I aim to bring students a sense of enjoyment and confidence when it comes to tackling complex ideas and problem solving.
More specifically, I believe in breaking the concepts down one-by-one. And like most concepts in math and physics, I think it is crucial to show how these fundamental ideas interrelate with each other. This way, the student can build relationships and ideas of their own, allowing for somewhat of a creative process when covering complex material.
