About Riaz
I am a third-year music student at the University of Pretoria, I am majoring in music education so I would like to gain practical experience teaching subjects that I have done at school and at university. I have a grade 5 level in music theory and have completed two years of doing it at a university level. I have completed two years of conducting and musicology at a university level and have received distinctions in both subjects. I am eager to help learners learn about music and share my passion for music.

My lessons will teach the basics of music theory, choral conducting, and musicology. I will teach you how to read music, the rules associated with writing music, musical keys, musical scales, etc.
I will make use of rhymes, songs, and cool little tricks that I have used in my music career to help you progress. When it comes to conducting I am able to teach basic patterns and what it means to be a conductor. Musicology I am able to teach about the classical and romantic eras as well as teach about the history of jazz.
