About Jonathan
I am a third-year university student, double majoring in Mathematics and History at the University of Otago. I plan on studying for two more years after which I plan to pursue a career in tutoring math (and maybe history) full-time. I want to spend these last two years at uni gaining as much experience tutoring as I can so that I can hit the ground running once I graduate. The experiences I have had tutoring and helping people prepare for exams have been very personally rewarding and have helped me see that this is a skill set I really want to develop and take into a future career

I begin by identifying the student's biggest challenges and use this as our starting point. From there, I focus on first principles to strengthen their understanding of key mathematical concepts. This is crucial for long-term understanding and success. In conjunction with this, I use the experience I have gained over the years to help students develop the skillset needed to excel in tests and exams.
