About Zara
I am a second year student of English Literature and Spanish at the University of Edinburgh. I am very passionate about my course and love all things Spanish, especially speaking it, so I am more than happy to help you along your language journey! I have experience teaching through my work this summer, as an Au-pair in Catalonia, teaching two children English.

I believe the best way to improve your language skills is through immersion, and the best way to replicate this in a lesson is through speaking as much as possible and not fearing making mistakes. I try and encourage this as much as possible, but of course I will explain new concepts and grammar ideas in English to avoid confusion. However, I understand that everyone has different targets, whether that be to improve fluency, knowledge and understanding of grammar, or perhaps reading and writing skills. So therefore I will adapt the lessons according to the goals of each pupil and what needs to be worked on
