About Charlie
I am 21 years old currently pursuing a degree in biochemistry at NC State. I hope to earn my PhD in genetics post-grad and work in a lab doing gene therapy. In addition to my biochemistry coursework, I have a handful of people I tutor at NC State, all of who I am sure would be happy to communicate with any potential new students and vouch for my professionalism and effectiveness.

My independent tutoring jobs at NC State have helped me hone my teaching/tutoring abilities. My method typically starts with receiving the material ahead of the session. I can then refresh my knowledge on the topics and figure out the best way to make any difficult material understandable. I enjoy working through practice problems with students as it is one of the best ways to demonstrate applications of concepts learned in class. As an honors student in the biochemistry department at NC State, I am well equipped to tutor students in any middle or high school maths, chemistry or physics.
