About Nouran
I am a third year engineering student, currently on track to achieving a 2:1. I achieved 12 A* grades in my GCSE's (including mathematics and statistics), and an A* and A for AS and A-Level maths and further maths respectively. For two years during my A-levels I was tutoring GCSE students, and so have experience in teaching students of all abilities. I also have experience in helping to prepare and review personal statements for university applications and so would be able to provide help where necessary at no extra cost. I am very friendly and patient and make it easy for students to ask for as much help as they need, and am also very easy to reach at all times if emergency help is needed. I can also offer explanations in Arabic for students that cannot speak English.
Most importantly, I pride myself in making the teaching experience fun and enjoyable for all my students so that they can really learn to love maths.

I will be tutoring GCSE/primary school students of all levels, with each session catered to the individual. By communicating with you first and finding out what areas you require help in I can structure my session accordingly to ensure that you make the most of the time spent with me. My approach is to break down the topic and begin from the basics, so that you can fully understand the topic and hence be able to apply it to any question. After covering the basics my focus is teaching students how to tackle exam questions and how to apply the knowledge that we cover.
