About My Tutoring
As a third-year Medical Laboratory Science student, I bring a unique blend of discipline, precision, and coaching energy to teaching English reading to elementary students (Grades 1–6). I focus on nurturing confidence and character through consistent, structured effort.
How I Teach
The Method: Interactive, step-by-step coaching using phonics deconstruction, guided read-alouds, and contextual vocabulary games.
The Lesson Structure: A high-energy 60-minute session broken down into a quick vocabulary warm-up, collaborative reading practice, active comprehension mapping, and tracking the day's "wins."
My Edge: I approach reading like a coach—treating students as teammates and focusing heavily on active learning, patience, and building a strong foundation for long-term academic growth.
