About the lesson

As an English tutor for 9th and 10th-grade students, my approach focuses on clarity, engagement, and confidence-building. Teaching Techniques & Methods: I use a mix of interactive explanations, practical examples, and regular assessments. I often include storytelling, games, and real-life applications to make grammar and vocabulary fun and memorable. I also encourage active participation and questions to create a comfortable learning space. Class Structure: Each class typically starts with a 5-minute warm-up (like a word puzzle or speaking activity), followed by a 30-minute concept lesson (grammar, writing, or literature), and ends with 10–15 minutes of guided practice and Q&A. Special Features: What makes my classes different is the supportive environment I build. I focus not just on academic growth but also on improving my students' confidence in spoken and written English. I also tailor lessons to each student’s pace and school syllabus. Target Learners: My classes are specifically designed for school students in grades 9 and 10 who need support with their academic English syllabus as well as spoken English skills.

Details

The hourly rate is ₹500 for in-person sessions. Webcam classes are available at ₹300/hr for students who prefer learning from home. A 5-hour pack is ideal for short-term revision, while the 10-hour pack works well for ongoing support. Travel charges apply only if classes are held at the student's location. All new students can take a free 30-minute trial class to get started comfortably.
