Hi there, I'm Rufus. I am a second year student at the University of Manchester studying Politics and Modern History living in London. I teach Politics or History for GCSE and A-Level students.

About Rufus
I love to teach as I am an avid reader of a lot of historical books and essays and would love to share my passion for history and convince more students to continue studying history. I believe history is an overlooked subject that is increasingly important in today's world, the skills you learn in essay writing are also hugely transferable to numerous opportunities.

I will focus primarily on the techniques needed for essay writing and what is expected to receive a good grade for both GCSE and A-levels. I can also help with the content of the course if told in advance what period the course is or if I have previously studied it. A typical lesson is 1 hour but I am more than happy to give extended lessons.
