About Selina
My name is Selina, and I am looking to tutor students in english. I have always loved reading as a child, and I still do to this day! At school, I work with grade 9s as a leader, and I have tutored 4th, 7th, and 8th grade students in the past as well, so I work well younger students. Others would describe myself as kind, compassionate, and studious.

I am looking to teach students in grade 9 and under. I have lots of advanced resources from when I tutored in the past and from my gifted english classes, that would help challenge and improve my student's skills. Typically in a lesson, I would start with some sort of visual presentation of the lesson, then have practice worksheets, and finally assign homework. I also would try to make it fun for the student by incorporating games such as jeopardy or selecting texts of their interest.
