As a Primary Education major, I have plenty of experience formulating engaging and exciting lesson plans that are appropriate for all students' unique strengths! My teaching method is rooted in personalized, student-centered techniques that cater to individual strengths and challenges. By incorporating multi-sensory approaches, interactive activities, and real-world applications, I ensure that reading becomes an engaging and rewarding journey.
Each of my lessons are meticulously crafted to balance literacy development as well as fostering a love for literature! A typical session will look like a brief review of previous concepts, followed by an introduction to new material through a visual presentation or read-aloud. We will then dive into interactive activities presented virtually, followed by a discussion and recap of the content presented.
These lessons are catered for elementary school students with emerging literacy skills and those in need of additional support in reading or writing. I have plenty of experience working with children with a diverse set of needs, including autism and ADHD. Whether you are a parent seeking support for your child's reading development or an educator looking for supplementary instruction, my lessons offer a tailored approach to meet various academic needs.
