About Jaspreet

I now have almost 8 years of teaching experience. I have considerable experience of private tutoring of Maths up to GCSE level (had been associated with multiple tuition centres in London as well as in Edinburgh). I have also taught in a school in India (Presidium, Delhi). I enjoy while I’m teaching and am very passionate about it. I also like interacting with pupils a lot, so I make a very friendly company with my students. I originally hail from India, however because of the multi-national nature of my parents’ job, I have done my schooling in many different countries (including in British curriculum). This gave me a considerable experience of multiple teaching patterns. In my free time, I like to paint and sketch.

About the lesson

A few words about my teaching style: 1) I prepare and deliver well-structured lessons, planning each session based on student’s forthcoming exams and performance in previous ones. 2) Building basics is very important, so in every class, I will first brief students with important points of the lesson trying to provide insights of the topic and build their strong fundamentals first. This also makes students confident on the topic and helps them to do well for the point 3 below. 3) I believe that practice based learning is more effective, hence I provide my students with practice tests/questions (after briefing mentioned in point 2), and then work on the areas they need most improvement with. However, if you prefer otherwise, I can go through the textbook first explaining each topic
