  • When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

I started practicing chess when I was five years old. A cousin taught me the first moves and introduced me to the logic of the game. From that early moment, chess captured my attention in a natural and lasting way. What began as a simple family lesson evolved into a deep and structured passion that has accompanied me throughout my life.
  • Which artists or works affect you the most?

One of the figures who has influenced me the most is Emanuel Lasker. His philosophy of organized play and his belief that in every position there is one best move had a strong impact on me. That disciplined way of thinking shaped not only my approach to chess but also my mindset toward projects and decision-making in general.
  • What are the qualities and skills required to succeed in this area?

To succeed in chess, creativity is essential, along with a strong tolerance for frustration. It is necessary to learn from losses and setbacks rather than being discouraged by them. Passion, discipline, and the constant desire to give your best effort are also fundamental. Chess demands both intellectual sharpness and emotional resilience.
  • What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?

My most valuable advice is to stay connected to your passion and dedicate intentional time to it every day, even if it is only five minutes. Consistency is more important than the amount of time invested. Small daily steps often become the most meaningful progress because they build discipline and long-term momentum.
  • How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?

My passion for chess feels structured, challenging, and deeply fulfilling. It brings clarity and focus to my thinking and constantly pushes me to improve. It also generates a strong sense of purpose and pride, especially when I see the positive impact it has on others.
  • What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?

I am especially proud of creating the Chess Heroe club. I am also proud of my online certifications, which support and validate my professional work. Becoming a professional player in my field represents years of dedication, discipline, and continuous learning.
  • Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?

Yes, I have been surprised many times. I have seen students achieve remarkable progress in tournaments and execute tactical ideas that truly impressed me. Witnessing their growth and confidence as they apply what they have learned is one of the most rewarding experiences as a coach.
  • Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?

My secret is consistency, patience, and confidence in the quality of what I offer. I strive to provide a space built on genuine passion, care, and structured learning. When students feel that they are in an environment of real commitment and quality, their development happens naturally.
