About Thomas
Hello there, I am interested in tutoring up to A-level in biology and up to GCSE in French. Currently I am in my 4th year at the university of Leeds studying biological sciences and studied French throughout my school career. I have a great passion for them both. My adopted brother is from a French family and so I often liaise with them in french (my best friend is also french :D).
I recently completed a year in industry working for a medical device company called Abbott. This has greatly developed my interpersonal & problem solving skills, alongside enabling me to socialise with new people on a daily basis.
A few years ago I spent several weeks teaching English in Kenya to HIV orphans which I found the most amazing experience. I would describe myself as a friendly, kind and intellectual man. With regards to my teaching style, I would describe it as clear, concise and supportive, with an attitude to always encourage students to tackle the problems they are faced with themselves before seeking help. After which, I am all ears and prepared to help them get to the answer.
