About Jean
I am a senior college student, in my last year at NYU and will be graduating with my bachelor's degree in Social Science of this year 2024 . I did 3 consecutive years at Syracuse University online and made it on the dean's list three times for my sophomore year and junior year in 2021, 2022, 2023. I maintained a 3.8 G.P.A. I plan on furthering my studies, after the completion of my bachelor's degree from NYU, and will be going for master's degree and post doctorate degree later on. There are three things about me that will captivate my student's attention. One, I take my craft in English very seriously, open to opinions and compelling well educated guesses and statements, and being analytical when breaking down either essays, reading texts, or short reading passages.

This would be my first time tutoring. My techniques are self explanatory. I want my students to apply their thinking process and having them brainstorm when it comes to reading such as literature, poems, short essays and so on. Being able to be creative and understanding the reading material. I would allow my students to be opinionated and being able to come up with educated guesses to build on their responses to the text. I would allow my students to do self practice reading assessments to see if they comprehend that particular assignment and once that is completed, I would assign my students another reading assignment that is a little bit more challenging, to see if they are capable of handling that material, but showing their creative knowledge.
