About Altamash
Currently studying Masters of Music in Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy from Royal Holloway University of London, I am a Western Music Educator with a specialism in Piano performance from the Middlesex University, London. I have been working with the top International Schools in India such as Kodaikanal International School, Kodaikanal, The Doon School, Dehradun and Woodstock School, Mussoorie, and a few esteemed schools in the Middle East. I have also worked as MYP music teacher - Piano specialist at Pathways School Gurgaon and the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad. I have been awarded by the ABRSM, thrice in a row, for promoting quality music education in India. I am in my 13th year of Piano teaching and have got loads of teaching experience in dealing with all the age groups from beginning through advanced.
I am skilled in developing in students an interest in, and passion for, learning via the medium of music, and seeing themselves as musicians at whatever level they are working (beginner through advanced). I am an inspiring personality and I often motivate students by periodical demonstration of my own performances. I have got the right qualifications and more than 13 years of teaching experience in this subject in the International Schools. I also prepare students for the external music exams such as the ABRSM, and the Trinity Guildhall.

My lessons are fun-packed and engaging; you will always want to have more. A regular 40 minutes lesson consists of 4 elements: Technique, Repertoire, Theory and Sight-Reading. I also deliver lessons in the highly artistic Russian style that captivates the audience right away. And, I do train students for the ABRSM exams. All of my students have pass either with a distinction or a high merit. Hoping to see you soon in class to make some great musical performances!
