As a retired pharmacist I have had plenty opportunities to teach. Over 35 years I taught what I know, spanning many aspects of science and healthcare including pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacology, math and physics.

I have learned to teach using analogies. Typically, adults do not understand much about their bodies when sick, whether farming, auto-mechanic or cooking to drive points home. I continue adapting strategy until the student lights up.
