About Akani
My name is Akani Ngobeni. I am a postgraduate student at the University of Johannesburg, studying a Bachelor of Arts Honours in English. I am always looking for ways to support a great course, and I have the rarest ability to comfort those in need. That makes me an admirable person. I know the importance of follow-through and commitment. I prefer to do things at my own pace, and I love to have fun, and I believe because of my outspoken personality and natural charm, I excel in marketing, sales and communication fields. I am naturally intelligent and influential and can achieve whatever I want. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Johannesburg, I acquired the ability to solve problems and enhance my creative thinking skills. Through Communication Studies, my communication skills were sharpened, and I have dealt with issues in a more communicable way. Being an English Literature scholar has helped develop my analytical thinking and evaluation skills and allowed thoughtful questions.

This program is intended for FET students and University students Pursuing their studies in language and writing. I special in English language which includes essay writing, critical and creative reading, proofreading, mapping out a document.
This lesson will help students to read like a writer by teaching them strategic reading and criticality which includes but not limited to: Summarising, Paraphrasing, Skimming and Synthesising. In order to write an essay, the lesson will also show them the importance of Brainstorming and freewriting as good ways to figure out what one know and what questions one has. This lesson will help students to discover what questions are on their mind and what directions they might pursue. Through brainstorming, students will be able to Identify challenging questions that readers might ask about their topic. Then pose a question that has more than one answer.
