About Roxanna
Sunlight filters across the worn wood of my home studio in Nashville as I prepare for a student. Having completed my MMus in Violin at the Yale School of Music in 2010, I balance performing with a leading American chamber ensemble alongside my teaching practice. My 6 years of experience span from 4-year-old beginners to college audition track high schoolers.
I focus intently on posture and hold while refining double stops and vibrato. Music theory acts as our structural guide during shifting positions through classical repertoire. Are you ready to engage with the technical bedrock of the instrument?

Clarity of sound emerges from rigorous attention to the architectural integrity of the music. Pure tone defines our progress.
We spend 10 minutes assessing physical tension before moving into the core work of intonation and phrasing that transforms a performance. Students often find that 8.0 out of 10 difficulty passages yield under slow, methodical practice routines.
