About Richard
My Experience in tutoring is one of the highpoints of my experience in the area of tutoring Math and Algebra. When I was Tutoring in the Math Lab in College I was the go to tutor when the other tutors could not help a student figure out how to work through the math issues they had I was the tutor that they called in to help the student work through the problem and help the student understand the math concepts so that the student could move forward in their math studies.

My teaching method is to first determine the student's current level of understanding is. from there to determine where the student needs to be at their current class level. From that level of understanding I will develop lesson plans specific to that student. I believe that a tutor will not succeed in helping a student who is struggling until the tutor understands where the student's level of understanding is and where the student needs to go to get to class level.
