About Thomas
My students must first master the basics of language. Language was invented and it has certain tools (rules) that must be understood. Students must become word carpenters to build a clear sentence (that is one thought). A carpenter must understand the tools and how they are used to build a house. It is the same with language with the tools (parts of speech) a writer can create thoughts in other's mind and as you know-"the pen is mightier than the sword."

I have a masters degree in language/linguistics and TESOL certificate from Texas A&M University Commerce and have taught at the college level for 16-years in all phases of the English language. I love people, and I love to teach , starting from the basics to advanced principles of communication. My students have come from all over the world and have become excellent communicators and thus successful in many areas.

Details
First I give the student a placement exam. Depending on the grade the rates are from $20 dollars to $48. I will give completion exams from time to time and if the student passes the exam over 70 then the rate will decrease by that amount; however, if the student falls below 70 then the rate will increase by the same amount.
