About Elle
I am a friendly, approachable and well-educated tutor who genuinely enjoys supporting people to meet their goals around language speaking and comprehension. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Language and Culture) and TESOL Cert 4. As an intermediate speaker of German and beginner speaker of Hindi, I have an appreciation of how intimidating a new language can be. After spending much of the past decade traveling, I have now settled in Launceston, Tasmania and would love to support people from different backgrounds to feel confident in communicating. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds to improve their knowledge of and confidence with English. I have a flexible approach that values everyday use of language while creating space and time to unpack grammar where needed. I like to use modern resources that are relevant to your life and interests. With an Arts degree where I studied linguistics, I am able to help you fine-tune your pronunciation. Lessons can go for up to 60 minutes and can place in your preferred 3rd space such as library or cafe.
